Yeah. You know what I mean. Dragon Shifters. Werewolves. Imperial WerePanthers. Those shifters. RomanceLand kind of shifters. Well, there’s a new game in town called Shifter’s United and their first release is out now. I was going to wait and write a review once I’d read it, but that could take a few days (or weeks, I’m kind of busy at the office right now) so I decided to just post what I have. The cover alone is worth the price!
In Night Wolves, three authors with three very different werewolf novellas bring you beneath the full moon to reveal the secrets that darkness conceals. Where alphas fight for what’s theirs and mates will do anything to be together, the passion and power of shifters is on full display.
Into the Moonlight
Aya works night shifts at a paper mill, surrounded by men who frustrate and disgust her. When a Kaleb appears from the shadows, her life takes an unexpected turn. He offers her a way out, excitement and passion beyond her wildest dreams. But at what price?
As soon as he sees Aya on the factory roof, working on a stuck valve, he realizes she’s his mate. And yet, if he reveals himself he puts her in more danger than she’s ever known. The right thing to do would be to walk away and continue his solitary existence as he hunts the former alpha of his pack. One act of kindness breaks down his barriers. He can’t resist his smart, sexy mate. He’s ready to claim not just her, but also his birthright.
In Her Mate’s Arms
When Kacie’s alpha hits her, she knows it’s time to leave her pack. Using Shifters United’s help line, she makes her way north, to Iron Horse territory where a safe house awaits. She plans to just stay there until she can move north, but when she realizes her mate’s pack runs the safe house, perhaps she’s found her home after all.
Sloan Dundrick knew first-hand what abuse could do to a family. His sister had died because of it, and that’s why he’d built a safe house on his family’s land. When he hears word of an unmated female needs sanctuary, he offers. Then he discovers it’s his mate, and nothing will stop him from claiming what is his, and ensuring her alpha receives retribution for the pain he caused her.
An alpha’s challenge threatens everything Kacie and Sloan hold dear. Will the pack survive, and more importantly, will she be able to remain in her mate’s arms.
Orphan Emma Morgan, inexperienced in the ways of the world, finds herself alone in the Wild West gold mining town of Devil’s End, an outlaw settlement where men considerably outnumber women. Cast out on her own after the untimely death of her guardians, Emma is adopted by the feline shifter Elisa Chinchilla. Elisa hints at dark secrets in the town before telling Emma that she must work to pay her way if she wishes to continue to live in the safety and security of Elisa’s luxurious home.
Emma soon learns that Elisa’s House of Goodwill is a brothel and paying her way means working as a prostitute, servicing the ravenous and insatiable man-wolves of Devil’s End. However, one man is different. Raven Black is a shapeshifter, as are most of the men of Devil’s End, but Raven is not like the others. Raven leads the winged ones rather than the wolves. He has the power to rise above the constraints of this dead-end town and he wants to take Emma with him.
However, can Emma trust Raven and is she willing to allow herself to be rescued? And will Marcus, the jealous alpha male of a rival pack of shapeshifters, allow it to happen?
